(Return to Archive#Politics)

As you know, I am a resident of Neve Dekalim slated to be deported, homeless, and unemployed with my husband and five children. I thought you might want to know that Israeli non Jewish soldiers are now being trained to break womens' wrists (mine, for example) so that their babies can be easily snatched from them during the evacuation - and they are learning to do this in such a way that leaves no signs of laceration on the skin so that the women will not be able to show it to the media.

Following is an open letter from Pastor Jim Vinyard (from Oklahoma) to Ariel Sharon regarding the illegal and immoral forcible expulsion of the Jews from Gush Katif and the Shomron.

Do you want to help? You can: 1) Get the following article published in your local newspaper. 2) Write or call Prime Minister Sharon: Office of the PM, 3 Kaplan Street, Jerusalem, Israel;
webmaster@pmo.gov.il; 972-2-652-4040; 972-2-670-5527.     Write: I strongly identify Pastor Jim Vinyard's open letter regarding the illegal and immoral forcible expulsion of the Jews from Gush Katif and the Shomron.
Cut and Paste the letter and sign your name

3) Send a copy of your letter to President George W. Bush, the White House, Washington, DC 20500;  <
mailto:president@whitehouse.gov> president@whitehouse.gov; 202-456-1414. 4) Distribute this letter as widely as possible, to your Congressional representative, your email list, and your religious leaders.  Ask them to add their voices of outrage against the "black-days" planned for the Jewish people.

Open Letter from Pastor Jim Vineyard to Prime Minister Sharon:

Christian-Zionist greetings to you Sir on this "black-day" in the history of the nation of Israel!  I call it a "black day" Sir, as an observer from Oklahoma, because of your arrogant and jubilant boast to your cabinet that "Gaza will be 'Judenrein' (my words Sir) by Rosh Hashanah."  I call it a "black day" Sir, because your personal plan is a reversal of your "campaign platform" you had against Amram Mitzna.  I call it a "black day" Sir because your concept of democracy now says "anyone who speaks or writes against the disengagement plan is guilty of incitement".

I call it a "black day" Sir, because your five thousand Druze, Bedouin and Jewish jerks, raised in a non-faithful environment, "storm-trooper deporters", will not have to wear name tags, hence no accountability.  I call it a "black day" Sir, because a Hatzofe article noted that many of your storm troopers will be Druze and Bedouins, who are "looking forward" to manhandling Jews.  I call it a "black day" Sir, because the entire storm trooper machine, which is now known as the "State of Israel"  had reneged on its Abrahamic Covenant, to adopt a new, sick and macabre venture, all in an effort to secure the "silly approval" of the European Union and the Bush Administration.  I call it a "black day" Sir, because your "storm trooper school for deportation", established in Beit-Govrin [Lak'hish area], now promises a cool $5,000 bonus to the "storm trooper" deporters.  With five thousand storm trooper deporters receiving $5,000 each, that is a cool $25,000,000 (million) the American tax payers will be giving your storm troopers to deport Jews.

I call it a "black day" Sir, because of the fact that it would seem that the only true friends of those people whom you supposedly lead, the apple of God's eye, are the faithful Jews and Christian Zionists, who believe that God meant what he said, and said what he meant, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I call it a "black day," Sir, because it is like that day, when Israel's first King, King Saul, as the Holy Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 13: 13-14, when Samuel said to Saul: "thou hast done foolishly, thou has not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which He commanded thee ....  But now thy kingdom shall not continue.  The Lord hath sought him, a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee."

I call it a "black day," Sir, because it is like that day, when Israel's king, King Ahab, had Elijah tell him that King Ahab had acted immorally in deporting faithful Naboth from his home.  God never changes His morality. You too, are acting illegally and immorally when you remove Jews in Gaza and Shomron in 2005 from their homes.  As the Bible states: "has thou killed, and also taken possession ... in the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine." [1 Kings 21:19].  I call it a "black day," Sir, because it is a day in which people in democracies worldwide need to know that Israel now has a fascist dictatorship endowing Israel in its ruling elite with legitimacy.  I call it a "black day," Sir, because American Christians and Jews need to know that Israel's Prime Minister must presently be exposed as a dictator.  I call it a "black day," Sir, because Americans need to know that you are utterly ruthless and will stop at nothing - not even bloodshed - to deport Jews from their homes in Gaza and northern Samaria.

I call it a "black day," Sir, because I am going to have to involve all the resources I can, in money and people, to let Americans know what you, Sir - a man who reminds me of Haman, mentioned in the Bible in Esther's day - are going to do to the innocent Jews in Israel.

I call it a "black day" because America is complicit with you in this endeavor.

A true yedid and haver to the Jews.

Sharon_Peres, the conspirators against the Jews

ARIK, YOU'VE LET ME DOWN!!
Yehudit Tayar, The Jerusalem Post Feb. 22, 2005

I once so admired you, Ariel Sharon. Now you, along with your patched-up opportunist government, have joined the pathetic ranks of those who have caved in to terror, all those "enlightened" people who have, for reasons of overconfidence, corruption and conceit, given up on the ideals this country was built on.

You have with your bulldozer style trampled on our rights as citizens; but even worse, you have virtually ripped the country in pieces.

You, who send our sons into the houses of terrorists, endangering their lives in order to try and save innocent lives, are now releasing those same terrorists and rewarding and encouraging those who have perpetrated and been involved in terror.

You plan to uproot Jewish homes, synagogues, shops and cemeteries for no justifiable reason using our sons, daughters, and husbands as tools of destruction. This will never be forgotten. You will never be forgiven.

We understand the enemy and his plans; it is obvious that you no longer do.

No matter how many embraces or promises you receive from any head of the Palestinian Authority or president of the United States you forget one important lesson:

Listen to what is said, not what you wish to hear, or imagine you are hearing. We have been through many signatures, many guarantees from US governments and Muslim leaders. We have paid for these in blood and tears.

You will be remembered in the annals of our history as a gambler, or worse. You will be remembered for your autocratic approach. You will be remembered also as a corrupt politician.

Do not weep crocodile tears for us; do not attempt to embrace us. We see through all of this. We will not be a part of your charade.

The threat of a criminal investigation hangs over your head. While we do not need to curry favor with anyone. At the same time, many, many members of our nation are disheartened, discouraged and have lost direction.

We, however, must live with ourselves and our God.

At the end of the day we will persevere despite the wrong-headed decisions railroaded through by you and your political partners.

We have a mandate to protect our Torah, our Land and our people.

Do not fool yourself. This Land does not belong to you. Many of us think you are attempting to erase your shady, arguably criminal activities by directing media attention toward the disengagement scheme.

I can only express my disdain at your decision to destroy the national fiber, and for what? For nothing.

Abraham Lincoln said: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." [Luke 11:17, Jesus said, - Zionsake Editor]

You are ripping apart the country, and callously using the Israeli Defense Forces, police and Border Police to tear Jews away from their homes. You are threatening to incarcerate citizens of Israel who will oppose your policies, much like the British did in the bitterly remembered days of the Mandate.

You were elected to protect us. Instead we feel you have stolen our votes. We feel betrayed. Still, we have faith in God that your plans will not be implemented.

We represent the covenant that the Jewish people have between our God and our Land. No prime minister or government decision can change that.

As our first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, said: "No Jew has the right to give up parts of our heritage, the Land of Israel. The Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people now and forever."

Some things, Mr. Sharon, do not change.

The Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people now and forever. And we will continue to protect that heritage by being there, in Katif, Judea, and Samaria and building the Land.

PEOPLE IN PAIN
by Rachel Saperstein, Neve Dekalim, Katif, ruchinmo@netvision.net.il

"Do you think it is psychosomatic?" I asked the doctor.
I have a persistent cough. Yes, I had a high fever, but now it's this cough.

"Your lungs are clear", the doctor said. "Take it easy. Drink hot lemonade with lots of honey".

My cough gets worse when I speak and speaking is what I do. I speak to reporters, and with television and radio crews from around the world. The message of Gush Katif must get through. I also speak to people who just call and need emotional support.

The government of Israel has signed the official expulsion orders and we are fighting for our lives.

Each of us volunteers in the battle for Gush Katif and I write and speak with passion about my home, and when I speak I cough and choke.

I cry, silently, at night. I try not to let my husband hear. He suffers, too.

I'm not alone. The people are in pain. One woman said: "I have nightmares of a bulldozer coming towards me and I cry out STOP? but it doesn't stop. It smashes into my home. I hear my children scream and I wake up shaking"

"I have a constant headache", a colleague at school told me.

I know what it is from.

"Why don't you pack and leave"? I ask.
"I can't. I have to be here with the people. But I suffer. If you believe in Eretz Yisrael and all the values I grew up with and teach my own pupils, then I can't just walk away. I even signed my daughter up for first grade at the Atzmona school for next year".

"Aren?t you being impractical"?

"I guess so. I know you're right. I'm the most practical person you ever met. This time I can't be practical. I have to believe that we will be here next year, and the year after that."

A friend from a community in Samaria called. "We're not slated for this expulsion, but I know we're next on the list. If they succeed in destroying you, there is no hope for us. I have severe stomach pains. I don't sleep. I find myself crying at all times of the day. I pray a lot. Surely the Almighty will have compassion on us".

Men don't cry as easily, but the pain in their heart is no less great. I'm over 50. I put my whole life into making my greenhouse farm successful. With the Lord's help we made these vegetables grow. Religious people around the world depend on us to provide insect-free kosher vegetables. My sons live here with their families. Three generations to be thrown out. They want to give this land to the Arabs. It will return to sand. Excuse me, I've got to get back to work. My heart is breaking. My pain is for me and Eretz Yisrael.

The pain is there, for me, for my people in Gush Katif, for the people of Israel, and for people all over the world. How often do journalists and radio and tv reporters ask, "Why is Sharon doing this to you"? The world media is here in Gush Katif listening to us and reporting this terrible shameful story of expulsion to listeners around the world.

And despite my personal pain I speak to the world and tell our story over and over again.

Zionsake Editor: PM Sharon's civil war against the nationalist camp already started in the 1940s as can be seen in the article below. It shows that his agenda has always been leftist (false Labor "Zionism" like Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, Yitzchak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Ehud Barak, etc.). His involvement with the right-wing Likud party was obviously therefore just a strategy to build a political career via the nationalist camp that comprises at least 60 percent of Israelis. No wonder, being cognizant of this reality, he knew his "Unilateral Disengagement Plan" would have been defeated in a National Referendum.

First-Hand Testimony: "Sharon Beat Up Etzel Fighters"
Arutz-7 Editor   Arutz-7 News: Tuesday, June 28, 2005
.
PM Sharon with up to ten bodygaurds at times - a big show to amplify his attempt to incite against the nationalist camp "Sharon would go around with his shovel-handle against us," says Ben-Ami Zamir, who says Sharon struck him in his head - putting in a different light Sharon's warnings about "civil war."
[PM Sharon with up to ten bodyguards at times - a big show to amplify his attempt to incite against the nationalist camp - Zionsake Editor]

Just two months ago, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told NBC that Israel is on the brink of a civil-war disaster. "The tension here, the atmosphere here looks like the eve of the civil war," he said. "All my life I was defending the lives of Jews. Now, for the first time, security steps are taken to protect me from Jews."

Revelations by a former Etzel [nationalist army organization] member show that this is not quite true. Ben-Ami Zamir says that Sharon was involved in violence against nationalist Jews during pre-State days, and was forced to run away to protect himself.

The NBC interview promoted the perception that "Jewish settlers" are the main threat to stability in the Middle East. "Israelis are bracing for a violent summer," the narrator opened, "but it's not the Palestinians they are worried about - it’s the Jewish settlers."

Knesset Members from both left and right said that Sharon's remarks about a "civil war" atmosphere and his need for protection from Jews are incendiary and provocative.

Extreme left-wing MK Zahava Gal'on (Meretz/Yahad) accused Sharon of "making cheap and provocative use of threats of civil war." Former Justice Minister Tommy Lapid of the left-wing Shinui Party said, "Remarks like these by the Prime Minister cause more extremism and tension, instead of calming things down. I don't think that such dangers exist."

MK Tzvi Hendel (National Union), a resident of Gush Katif and one of Sharon's most bitter opponents, said, "Sharon is a liar. He knows that the only one who can lead to a civil war is he himself."

Hendel's party colleague MK Uri Ariel also blamed the Prime Minister for the atmosphere he himself created: "Sharon is like someone who pushed his mother down the steps, was put on trial for murder, and then asked for mercy because he's an orphan."

Hendel's words received strong backing this week - from a man who himself suffered from Sharon's ideological-based violence. It occurred during the period known as the Saison of the mid-1940's, when left-wing Haganah activists pursued and beat up nationalist Etzel and Lechi activists, and others even turned them over to the hated ruling British forces.

Speaking with Arutz-7's Shimon Cohen, Ben-Ami Zamir, who is today a member of the Likud Party Bureau, gave the following harrowing account:

"I was given the mission of establishing an Etzel cell in our moshavah [townlet] of Magdiel, and I did so. I gathered some youths in our cafe, and I would often give shelter to Etzel men who needed to hide from the British police. Everyone knew everyone, and it was known that I was an Etzel man, as were all my neighbors; residents of the surrounding moshavim were rival Haganah people."

One of these towns was Kfar Malal, home to young Ariel "Arik" Sharon. "One Motzaei Shabbat [Saturday night], a truck arrived at the cafe, and out of it jumped a group of uniformed Haganah men, led by Ariel Sharon holding a hoe-handle. We knew him in the area as someone who always holds a hoe-handle to catch Etzel and Lechi people. They tried to break into the cafe, which was still closed because of the Sabbath. I came close to him, and he said, 'Give me some soda,' and pointed to a box of drinks on the ground. I bent down to the bottles, and then he picked up his arm and smashed me with all his might with the hoe-handle. My head was covered in blood, which dripped down all over me."

Zamir said that a fight ensued, and "for ten minutes, they destroyed everything they could... The next morning, I went to the Sharon home... His mother came out, saw me all bandaged up and immediately realized what was going on. I asked where Arik was, and she said he wasn't home. I said that if I would see him, I would get him. Later people in Kfar Malal told me that he was afraid to go home. We didn't see him again in Magdiel."

Zamir said that this was not the only violent incident against Etzel people in which Sharon was involved. He noted specifically the case of someone named Hayuma, who died six months ago, whose arm was broken by Sharon's gang.

Zamir's story was publicized 15 years ago by Yediot Acharonot reporter Shlomo Nakdimon. That article also quoted similar testimony by Etzel member Daniel Basamnik. "Sharon threatened to sue [following Nakdimon's article]," Zamir told Arutz-7's Cohen, "but for his own reasons decided not to."
.

Not long ago, Zamir met Sharon at a Likud gathering at the party's headquarters in Metzudat Ze'ev. "Sharon passed me," Zamir said, "and I told him that he would be remembered in history as a traitor. I said that apparently only when a shell lands in his own farm, will he understand what he's doing."

Cohen said that no response to his inquiries on these accusations had been received from the Prime Minister's Bureau by press time.

Just today, Mr. Sharon issued a call against violence in response to threats received by Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz. "Everything must be done to stop the violence of a small minority of the settlers," he said today. Apparently unaware of the old/new accusations against him, Sharon said that the Land of Israel faithful living in the Maoz HaYam Hotel in Gush Katif are "vocal and dangerous," as well as "law-breaking." [Zionsake Editor: It's a lie, the hotel is legally rented from its owners and no law forbids its occupants from living there.]
